bryan-bio-rmI have been coaching tennis and passionate about player development since 2007 and have been stringing racquets and playing the game since 1996. I grew up working and playing at tennis clubs and public courts in Irvine, CA. After competing on my high school varsity team I went to Lehigh University to study Philosophy, Cognitive Science, and Business and decided not to play in college but became a recreational player. After college I strung for multiple pro shops in Southern California and competed in the Wilson worlds fastest racquet stringer competition in Las Vegas. I set a new record and won the competition enabling me to get trained and work stringing for the pro’s at both the Miami Erickson and US Open tournaments. That is when I decided to dedicate to being a tennis professional and moved to the Bay area to live with my to be wife. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area I started my own stringing business and began coaching Cunha Middle School’s tennis team as well as offering lessons on the side. Since then, I have coached High School boys and girls Varsity, coached with multiple recreation programs, gained USPTA certification, and was a pro at Ladera Oaks Tennis & Swim for 4 years before going independent and developing Pure Pace Tennis Academy, a tournament training program for juniors. To support my work with high performance players I attained the USTA High Performance Certification as well as have been studying the game at the professional level daily. The academy was run out of CA until 2022 when I moved to the Tampa Bay Area and I am now directing programming for players from Red ball to full time High Performance players. Player Development is my main focus and I love to help players organize, schedule, and execute their training at all levels in order to optimize their development and success on and off court.
