Finish the summer strong with this intense and intentional high performance camp led by Coaches Suresh Menon and Bryan Richter. Below are the dates and daily schedule for the camp. By invite only.

General Daily Schedule

8:30am – 9:00am: Arrival for activation and dynamic warm up

9:00am – 11:00am: A mix of on court group training, tennis specific fitness, and private/semi private lessons.

11:00am – 12:00pm: Lunch/Active rest/Change Sites

12:00pm – 2:00pm: Match Play

Individualized instruction

Coaches Suresh and Bryan will evaluate and provide individualized instruction to every player. We will encourage everyone to know there intentions and to practice with purpose every day on court.

37hrs of Training

A variety of hitting, drilling, fitness and match play with other HP players. We will aim to have a good balance for all players of playing up, equal, and down.

Match Play

In the afternoons we will be exlusivly doing match play so the players can practice their intentions and mental tools in competitive situations. Coaches will evaluate match play performance and adjust lesson plans to address the players competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Camp

OBJECTIVES

Developing a variety of tactics:
 
– Consistency (margin, court position, controlling aggression)
– Patterns (groundstroke, serve/return +1)
– Mixing (spins, heights, angles, transitioning)

Automizing efficient footwork patterns:

– On to the ball from all angles
– Off the ball recovery movement
– Serve/Return +1 footwork
Developing mental tools and awareness:

– Recognizing opponents tactical patterns, strength, and weaknesses
– Utilizing rituals between points/games
– Awareness of self and adjusting focus, intensity, looseness
